Namit Gattani is a seasoned banking and trade finance professional with over 26 years of experience across International Trade Finance, Transaction Banking, Factoring, Financial Institution Relationship Management, and fintech-led trade finance platforms. A qualified Chartered Accountant, he also holds globally recognized certifications including Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).
Over the course of his career, Namit has worked with leading financial institutions including ICICI Bank, IDBI Bank, Centurion Bank, and IndusInd Bank, along with an international stint at Doha Bank, Qatar. His extensive experience spans trade operations, product development, compliance, relationship management, and strategic business development across banking and trade finance ecosystems.
Prior to joining M1 NXT, Namit served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Vayana TradeXchange, an ITFS platform operating from GIFT City, where he played a key role in driving operational excellence, developing trade finance products, strengthening compliance frameworks, and building strategic industry relationships.
At M1 NXT, Namit is part of the leadership team focused on strengthening the company’s international trade finance capabilities and driving strategic growth initiatives in the cross-border financing ecosystem. He works closely with the leadership team under the guidance of Munindra Verma, CEO, M1 NXT, to support the organization’s vision of building a robust and globally connected trade finance platform.
Beyond his professional commitments, Namit has a keen interest in current affairs, developments in international trade finance, and enjoys spending time with his family and watching comedy films.
